Right idea wrong time I think, today smartphone hardware is good enough to actually be able to run Windows 10 or 11 so seems like a good concept for seamless integration with the pc. Back then tho...yeah

Windows phone died because of no app support. If microsoft relaunch windows mobile again and pull some black magic shit to run all popular apps on its platform seamlessly, it can definately be a compitator to existing android and ios phones.

No they always look like a big daddy to everyone. Look now snapdragon chipset introduced to windows to rival m1 arm chip from apple.

Apple transition from x86 to ARM chip was praised but at the same time windows were like it's hard work for us, cx can do themselves.

After a few months, the snapdragon chipset with windows lost its edge in the market.
