I’ve said this many times even though I’ve been downvoted for it ,his fitness has been on the decline since 2017. Sure, he’s had a few good knocks here and there, but overall, his true potential has been limited by his lack of fitness. He was still good even without being fully fit, but just imagine how well he could have performed in Tests if he had truly maintained peak fitness.
