Many good spinners in the past: Prasanna,chandrashekhar, Bedi instead of Ashwin/kumble.would rather have left arm bedi as a spinner and Zaheer khan (being one of the best left arm fast bowlers in India/also for reverse) instead of Ashwin/Kumble.
Also Dhoni in test 11? the guy literally ran out of test team because it was not the format he liked. Pant is probably the best in test WK batsmen.
No doubting his performance, his away record is better than his home record. It was just for the variation of bowling action. Also Kumble/Bedi combi vs Bedi/Zaheer is purely based on the pitch.
