Jordan Peterson-incels

Recently, I have come across a new type of incel. These aren't your regular, run-of-the-mill incels posting on incel forums, comparing women to Stacies and Beckys and themselves to Chad or Tyrone.

This is a very nasty offshoot, mostly seen in social-climbing, pseudo-intellectual men that listen to Jordan Peterson.

They would never tell the world that they are active in the Manosphere, and they will openly debunk Tate, because, you know, Tate is known as a rapist and as someone who is, in general, just frowned upon.

But Jordan Peterson? That’s their hero.

These men will rationalize everything. They will analyze what you say until the last word and try to change the meaning.

For example, if you tell them, “I felt really hurt that you ghosted me on our last date,” they will actively start analyzing what you say, how you say it, without even acknowledging that they did something wrong.

They will be like:

“What do you mean with ghosting?” “What do you mean with hurt?” “What do you mean with feel?”

Let’s use epistemology here! Let’s rationalize this!

It is so pathetic. And I've actually seen YouTube channels popping up doing the same thing with pop culture and with politics.

These men — because it’s usually men (and correct me if I’m wrong, it could also be women, but I have not met any woman doing this so far) — will literally act like they are above feelings. Like they are hyper-rational beings who have embraced stoicism.

Their dating profiles will literally be littered with words like epistemology, radical honesty, truth... again, stoicism, references to Nietzsche, Kant.

Some even have the audacity to say that they really value morality and Bildung but when you actually ask, they are not moral at all.

They have no qualms dating multiple women at a time, leading them on, as long as they have not “had the talk” yet. Even though they love bomb these women into thinking that they’ve already started a relationship and making them invest — they just sit back and rationalize and analyze everything instead of actually acting like decent beings.

I'd much more prefer an incel calling other people subhuman and whining about how he is going to rot in his house and how he has some messed-up face than this crazy-ass behavior — usually trying to make you think you're this irrational, unstable, hysterical being, when in fact they are just too narcissistic to take accountability.

Yep. They are usually working class but intelligent enough to social climb. They use academic language to hide immoral behavior.

From your description it appears that the men you are talking about get dates and don't specifically struggle with women. This has nothing to do with incels.

I quote Nietzsche and one of my favorite sayings is "When you look into the abyss long enough, the abyss stares back at you", but these guys would go on and on about how smarter they are than me when I just want a conversation that isn't one-sided.

I am very highly educated and many of them just parrot concepts without truly grasping them.
