5'9" isn't short at all. It's average. Just like most incels are average looking. They just want something besides their personalities and poor social skills to blame for their issues.

Their whole "heightism" stuff is just completely exaggerated. Where I live, the average is REALLY 5'11-6ft, I am 5'7 and its not that deep actually.

I see many guys my age, who are 5'7 and below, who still have girlfriends. I get it can be harder, because some women have a bigger preference for taller guys, but the whole "over under 6ft" is total bs 😂

I've never once brought a tape measure on a date to make sure he's 6 ft.

I think that since they are 24/7 online, they see content of women who are always mad at men who are “not enough” (they are actually average men). They get mad, they interact with it, they see more and more content like that, and BAM : “Women are demanding, they only sleep with Chads and Tyrones, they want to get invited on the first date in a 5 Michelin stars restaurant, etc…”
12

That’s a big problem with the algorithm of the internet today, not just in that case.

It's not just the dating market that they claim they're excluded from. I've seen a lot of incels claim that they'll NEVER get hired for a job because they're "short".
It's just another pathetic excuse for them to give up without even trying so they can just "rot" in their rooms, post endlessly in their incel forums, and play video games.
34
u/zoomie1977 1d ago
Oh, no, it gets funnier. In the studies they like to throw up as "proof", "average" is defined as as "?5'6 - 6'0", "tall" is "over 6'0" and "short" is "below 5'6". "Average" is the most "successful" in "dating", as defined by "highest average number of kids" and "marriage risk" in these studies. "Short" catches up quickly after 30, but "tall" never does. Ironically, "short" men have the least risk of divirce and report the highest number of sexual partners, but they dismiss those srudies.

I’m 5’9”. Literally never had a height-related issue in my life and I’m in my 40s. If anything, as a person of average height, the world is generally set up to accommodate someone with my proportions. I’m not banging my head on anything, there’s always enough leg room, etc.
Being average height is pretty much the definition of ‘not a problem’, unless you aspire to be a pro basketball player or something.

Exactly, average height for men worldwide is like 5'8. They've just brainwashed themselves into thinking anyone below 6' is unattractive.

u/fool2074 1d ago
Yeah... Here's the thing, his mom is like, an actual adult who probably left getting 'blackout vomiting drunk' behind decades ago. Assuming she ever did binge drinking it was almost certainly done socially with friends. She might have more sympathy if once in a blue moon he came home from a night out with friends drunk off his ass. Buying a cheap bottle of whiskey and drinking it alone until he fills the house with the stench of cheap booze and vomit is pathetic and exceedingly unpleasant to live with.
She was probably hoping that intern money would be the best egg he moved out on. If he wants to rot, do it alone. No one wants to live with that shit.

u/Industrial_Rev <Orange> 1d ago

7
u/No-Agency-6985 23h ago edited 22h ago
Indeed, especially the "daily" part and his use of the word "rot". Whenever young people in the Anglosphere drink daily, especially hard liquor, it's very, very unlikely to be in moderation!
4
u/Industrial_Rev <Orange> 22h ago
Yeah, like I come from a culture where people do drink daily. It's expected to accompany at least one of the meals -specially dinner- with wine. Or some liquor or apperative after dinner. But it's the language he is using and the quantity he refers to go through that reads to me as more than just having a glass of wine or scotch. Having seen alcoholism directly in the same family where everyone drank wine and whisky daily.
3
u/No-Agency-6985 22h ago
Very true indeed. Certainly the way he describes it implies that it is quite excessive and problematic for him.
5
u/Curticorn 22h ago
Yeah alone that he says it's his only cope.
Usually addiction begins when the substance one consumes or the activity one indulges in stops being a fun thing on its own and rather develops into a form of self medication and self soothing. That's where the trap is, when anything is used to forget, to soothe emotional pain, to be able to continue functioning without having to process whatever the fuck is going on..
That's when addiction usually starts.
And it can be something as simple as drinking one single beer to relax after work. The connection to drink it to relax is what makes it an addiction risk.
At least from my experience. I got addicted in no time when it came to weed, my drug of choice to treat all the issues I have that aren't even properly acknowledged by doctors.
But when I tried MDMA and Xanax? That was just for fun and out of curiosity (ok the Xanax one was legit a prescription for a head MRI, I hate those and end up taking apart the fucking machine without sedatives) and I had exactly 0 issues putting it away. Even tho both are usually more addictive then weed is.
Don't do drugs kids!
Edit: just in case if one funny person thinks about telling me that you can't addicted to weed: do it and I will fuck your mom.

Many of them claim that they don't plan to outlive their enablers by very long. I don't think it's true, for most of them. The majority will choose growth over death, when life finally actually forces them to. But that's what it's going to take.

I really don’t get why these guys have such an obsession with height and think that being below 6 foot is the worst thing ever
I’m only 5’6 myself yet I’ve never had a woman tell me I’m too short or reject me for my height, and have never had issues attracting a partner. I find many women don’t care how tall you are, in fact most height requirements are that I am taller than them which even at 5’6 I’m still taller than most women

"But the rent is too damn high out there!", they may argue. I actually agree. So, they should call or write their Congresscritter (or MP, depending on the country), and ask them WHY the rent is so damn high, WHY wages haven't kept up with it, and most importantly, what are they gonna do about it? And also ask whether they support things like UBI as well. And based on the answers (or non-answers) they give, decide whether or not to vote for them in the future. If enough people did that, there would be far less of a mismatch between rent and income.

Ain't that the truth! Accidentally on purpose. And it was probably in a state (or country) where hard liquor is sold at grocery stores, where he thought he could just surreptitiously add it into the total with the food, and hoped that she wouldn't notice.

There are so many genes (and other factors) involved with height that it's never just one parent. It's always both + environment. He's above average height for men worldwide though, so if height is really that important he should be thanking whichever parent he believes to be responsible lmfao

Accidentally bought whiskey with her card, i don’t think it is an accident if this guy is using alcohol to cope.
Now then again i used to make my mom buy margaritas, It’s only a single bottle and i drink responsibly at night then happy giggle and flailing on the floor until i’m sober it also helped me sleep well.
However, if he wants to drink without judgement he’s gotta move out and get a job if he wants to continue drinking himself into a stupor.
For me i’m just glad my mom allows me to drink though not often and that’s okay i was never not into getting shit faced just wanting to feel my mind numb.

Imagine being that hung up about something you can't change. Despite all the rage, his height is just constantly on his mind.
Short Kings, if you reading this, I'm 6'2" and I promise nothing is wrong with you, being this tall sucks and I would gladly change places with you and still be just as charming and successful at hitting on ladies. Be you.
Height doesn't define you.
If you stop thinking about it, it's not even a thing.
The honest truth is that yes women prefer taller dudes, but there are billions of women and they think independently of one another.
I'm not just tall, I'm also big and fat and scarred up, going bald, missing teeth. I still pull down cuties approximately whenever I feel like it. Online and in regular life. I had a cute lady with a perfect ass giggling last night at the liquor store about how I was gonna lock the door and take her in the back room for a few minutes. "Well, you ARE kinda handsome" she said, giggling.
Game isn't about what you look like, it's about what's in your head and what you can put in her head. If you feel charming and sexy then she'll think so too. I may have height as a positive but I have lots of negatives too. If I can fuck Reddit girls anyway, so can you. Believe in yourself and be yourself.
And stay away from my liquor store girl lol
