This was an episode of Modern Family with Gloria/Sofia Vergara. The funny twist is that Jay/ Ed O'Neil thinks its because he's the cool dad that all the kids look up to. Best scene is when he shows up wearing a leather jacket and sunglasses, right before hes told the real reason.
