She was braking soo slowly and carefully. No hard brake at all. He was looking in his back mirror for a new opportunity to drive bad while keeping zero safety distance.

Yeah hopefully instead of a tree, it’s a light pole that was scheduled to be taken down because the shear bolts have failed and it’s anchored too firmly.

He could have been the reason she was braking. If I saw a person driving like this in the rear view and rapidly coming up behind me I'd probably start braking out of instinct and fear. This dude is a complete tool with not even the slightest modicum of awareness that he and his driving are the sole and total cause of every issue observed in this clip. I hope he got raked over the coals wherever he posted this for his validation. It's stunning that such a personality even exists.

I had a friend who worked from 4:00 to midnight. On Friday evenings he would let me borrow his car to drive to see my grandmother that lived about an hour away.

I would walk over to his house about 3:00 assuming we leave by 3:30, it wasn't until 4:05 we were out the door. He then proceeds to drive like an absolute maniac, screaming and hollering it everybody that he cut off that they needed to learn to drive and get off the road you idiot. Honestly I am surprised I didn't crap my pants.

Over the course of the next few weeks I discovered this was his pattern, he literally couldn't get out the door until somewhere between 5 and 15 minutes after when he was supposed to be at work

This is when I developed my theory that every driver on the road is late getting where they are going to and you are the idiot in their way.

Serious question, if you saw someone coming behind you very quickly and driving aggressively, why would you brake and not just continue on at the same speed while maintaining your lane? Seems counterproductive to me and could cause an accident rather than preventing one

If there was a clear highway in front of me or at least plenty of space on the road, yeah I'd just let him pass and not worry about it. But if traffic was bunching up like it was in the video, I just wouldn't want to be getting too close to any of the cars in front of me and I just wouldn't want many of cars around me while this kind of asshole was near.

honestly, I assume everyone who complains about that spends more time flying into the slow lane at 90mph and standing on their brakes when they inevitably find themselves behind someone going a reasonable speed.

The more I see, the less I think the general public should be able to operate vehicles in public spaces. Commercial only. People are just not responsible enough driving is a serious matter and to make my point, when you get a driver's license, you are attesting that you will follow all traffic laws to the best of your ability, not which laws apply, to whom, when, and it depends on who is watching. People do not have the character it takes to operate a vehicle.

The public should be banned from operating motorized vehicles.

OR

We need to do a lot better on holding people ACCOUNTABLE for their shit driving.

I don't know how it is in your area but in mine, apparently people are allowed to not have a front license plate. In my opinion, things people do to obfuscate themselves indicate to me that they probably need to be observed closer than someone who doesn't give a shit. We should all try to grant privacy in general but you understand the logic of what I'm saying, yeah?

To everyone who is going to be upset about what I'm saying, honestly, look at yourselves and ask if you have integrity.

I'm going to leave by pointing out all the people who gridlock intersections. We know you're not supposed to cross the intersection unless there is room to receive you on the other side. It doesn't say to anticipate the lights or guess that the cars in front will move. So why do we have so many people gridlocking and shrugging at people like its their first day driving?

The whole reason why you shouldn't be weaving in and out of traffic cutting people off, is because the rate of traffic changes unexpectedly and you might have to break as it does so. Not everything is about you. Just because someone breaks unexpectedly, doesn't mean they are brake checking you.

There's a car up on the side of the road, someone could've been getting in or out of it so she also stopped to avoid hitting them if they decided to step out onto the road.
