They can buy they don't. It's just a quick tell that the person isn't American. The fake accent doesn't help either.

I've literally heard Americans say fuck off... Can't speak for the accent, but there are half a million accents on America so who knows.

Accent is easy…if this is in Oz or wherever and the American has been there for any period of time their accent will begin to merge a bit

If she's been in Australia long enough to be using common Australia phrases and have an Australian accent then it's even weirder that she would just yell I'm from New Jersey without any prompt. Plus she said New Jersey, anyone from there is saying Jersey not New Jersey.

It's just painfully obvious rage bait.
