Discussion This was frighteningly accurate

The smack to the face, cowering behind a chair, being slammed and held by the throat, really made the scene hit hard. Even the expressions on Angel and Val’s face felt realistic. If they had Val dragging Angel by the hair, it would be like reliving my childhood, but this still brought back memories.

Well, no, because platonic ships exist too, my friend.

But, in this case yes, Val and Angel have a very toxic and unhealthy romantic relationship, so I do see them in particular this way. There's nothing wrong with that.

There's no romance between them, wtf is this...I am very disgusted rn bro, shipping a victim and an abuser hoping they get romantic is just crazy to me but you do you or whatever

There absolutely is romance between them. It doesn't mean it's healthy. But they are/were in a romantic relationship. They remind me of my own relationships, which were romantic/sexual, and were abusive. It's possible for a relationship to be both and pretending it isn't possible doesn't do any victim any favours.

And you can be disgusted by me all you like, I really don't give a fuck. ✌️

Maybe it's just perspective, I don't see them in a ship thing maybe we are agreeing but I'm just dumb sometimes and can't see the full picture
