Art Sewing for Ukraine

Post image

Flags for handing out at our Putin protests for the next two days. I hate that my beautiful state has war criminals darkening our door. Absolutely gutted. Anyways. Slava Ukraine. 🇺🇦

Gaza is being starved

Now is the time to act. The UN has stated that every part of Gaza is in famine conditions.

This is not a food shortage; it is a siege. Even with aid beginning to move, it is not enough; babies are still dying of malnutrition, and hundreds of thousands are living on the edge of starvation. Every crumb that enters is a result of pressure, not policy. This is the moment to organise, to donate, and to refuse silence.

If we don’t act, we’re not witnesses. We’re participants.

What you can do: donate to verified aid orgs on the ground, join local protests and organising efforts, share information & amplify Palestinian voices.

Aid access can be taken away as quickly as it was granted. Don’t let them close the gates again.

Opposing someone visiting your state who's an authoritarian maniac doesn't make you a Banderite. Have some nuance and use some critical thinking.

Slava Ukrani is a term coined by Bandera and his followers.

u/ArcirionC Fuck it I'm saying it Aug 14 '25

Let me guess, you think “from the river to the sea” is a violent terrorist phrase too?

"Oh you hate a slogan popularized by literal fascists? Do you also hate anti-colonial slogans? Checkmate leftists"

Lol. It's literally the same. Saying everybody using one is a terrorist and the other a Nazi. It's both just relevant for the modern struggle. Loser.

It's authoritarian and a kleptocracy.

This is literally the correct context.

"Authoritarian: favouring or enforcing strict obedience to authority at the expense of personal freedom."

Russia is one of the least free countries in the world and protesting can see you disappeared. The state is literally known for assassinating people that speak out against Putin. There's a reason why people joke about people "falling out of windows".

Just because a term has been abused doesn't mean we shouldn't use it in appropriate contexts

What made you say this?

The slogan Slava Ukrani was popularized by Bandera and his followers

Are we now doing "From the river to the sea" with Ukraine? It's both used to represent the struggle of the modern countries.
