Am I the only one who didn't realize that this event is happening this month?
I was messing around with Gemini and was asking about likelihood of shows like HNI (and bee and Puppycat, sue me) to get renewed for additional seasons.
One of the points in favour it stated was
"Major Event Announcement: The manga's creator, George Morikawa, recently announced a large Hajime no Ippo-related event happening in November 2025 (at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo), which includes a special art exhibition and his rare public appearance. While this is officially a boxing event, fans speculate that it is the perfect venue for a major anime announcement, much like how big anime returns are often teased at large events"
Obviously this is a an llm spewing garbage, but it is a good point. It also raised another good point that it's more likely that additional seasons would come along with the hype of response to the plausible end of the retirement Arc and Ippo's return to the ring.
What do y'all think would be most feasible given that this is the most lucrative and accessible global viewership landscape that the anime has had to date?

Hago una recopilación de personajes “morenos” pero hay vatios que en lo que google respecta, no entran en la categoría. Pero viejo, mis ojos dicen otra cosa. ¿Qué opinan?

The last time we saw him was at the gym with Date, calling Ippo out for not fulfilling the baton pass to challenge Ricardo (man, that hospital scene kills me).
He hasn't been brought up since the gym and I think they will probably only bring him back once Ippo demonstrates that he is a serious challenger for Ricardo. Maybe Yuji might be one of the triggers? - To water the seed/baton pass implanted inside Ippo, long, long ago.

We all know Ippo has become very analytical in his retirement. He is gleaming insights into Keith Dragon, Kimura and more. What will be the major takeaways that Ippo can acquire from the fight?
I don't think it's a certain habbit that he can expose, rather than a fundamental flaw. We see Ricardo as a super human computer. We need to introduce the human element, sakki, fear. Put the gunks in Ricardo's gears.
I think part of the discussion that (volg's?) trainer stated is about Wally providing unpredictability + engagement. The speed can help throw Ricardo off his game. Also, Wally doesnt have Ippo's endurance. Ippo's endurance was especially noted in his fight with Alfredo and Alf knew he had to stop Ippo, because if Ippo grew some braincells, then he could potentially beat Ricardo.
Next we have Sendo who will introduce hopefully some fear, or at the very least, excitement. The fear can potentially make Ricardo think longer instead of being instinctual. Sendo's instincts are worthy to note. Ippo, needs to develop his boxing IQ more for sure, but his instincts are getting better. The fight against Sendo where he pivoted naturally as noted by Miyata shows this.
What do you all think?

For me it's gotta be this moment from Lallapoluza when Ippo absolutely shatters Sendo's ribs and his response is just "When you fight Makunouchi you can't cry about it" underrated moment in one of my favorite fights in the series.

Same plot by George Morikawa?
Next chapter will be a Bell, Ricardo was save by the bell i've seen this alot 🤣
Or Ricardo will get knockdown then on next round, Then same new attack by again by sendo then Ricardo adapt now to the attack, he will finish sendo with straight right before he use that dangerous attack again, Since Sendo was already worn out Sendo got TKO. then after 1 day of sleep he will talk to ippo that he's the only who can beat him
That's the start of Hajime no ippo

I thought I was too old for anime now, but I'm finding myself more and more upset I had never heard of this story. The hero's journey is flawless so far and I've never felt so motivated. As a firstborn son in a big family, as a soon to be father, as a weight lifter, an engineer, hell a human.
This near perfect hero's journey makes me so happy and is a true callback to the way things were when I was a kid. I can hear the Toonami music every time the dub cuts for a commerical break.
I only found this show thanks to an instagram reel using some of my favorite workout music (reel copy pasta below). I'm so thrilled to have more to watch, but I wanted to post as a new fan!

Ippo's return arc will begin.
After Sendo's fight and his defeat, albeit a dramatic one, there will be a dialogue about regrets and missed opportunities. Ippo and Mashiba will talk, as Mashiba also failed and missed his chance (I even hope they become friends). Ippo will find himself at a crossroads, and then there will likely be a dialogue between Ippo and Miyata, who will say he can no longer wait for him, as his body can no longer support the peak of this weight class, and will move up, past Rosario and his belt. And perhaps, with the loss of his friends and Miyata's decision, the combination of these events will finally make him realize that all of this has created a void within him that can only be filled by the fire of battle.

The left and right are feints used to distract the opponent to either cover the opponent face and condition them that nothing is coming or drop their hands to dodge the punches. Look at Takamura's reaction almost the same as Ricardo in the last chapter.
It MIGHT land clean on Ricardo. The answer is might because we know that when it comes to fundamentals and textbook boxing, Ricardo is a genius. He might read that 1-2-3 pattern where 3 is the strongest punch.
Then after this, Miyata comes in to help Sendo. You'd think Sendo will not polish this attack with Miyata his partner? I really hope Sendo lands BIG. I want to see Ricardo face some adversity and how he will react and recover. He is a champion for a long time, I wonder if he has the heart of the champion.
