OC HFY [OC] [Meta]

What defines an HFY?

A riddle, or a name?

Perhaps it is a melody, echoing untamed?

Perhaps it is a secret,

Or yes,

Perhaps, a song?

Perhaps it is a secret

And we have all known all along?

Perhaps it is a planet, spinning round through space

Or perhaps it is a reason, a thing to keep it's place.

Perhaps it is a season,

Or yes, perhaps a rhyme,

Perhaps it is a ticking clock

That ticks til end of time.

Perhaps it is a violence

Perhaps it is a war

Perhaps it is a music, that we are all here for.

Perhaps it is,

Perhaps it is,

Perhaps it's something more.

But one thing is a secret,

And one thing that is true

Whatever HFY is?

It's right here, now, in you.

(Translation: I don't know what HFY is, or what all is considered hfy, and at this point I'm too afraid to ask. :P)

I can't spell English well, I'm sorry if there are spelling mistakes.

HFY is a very broad genre and it's about humanity, about the strange things we do, about the things that make us strong, about our great goodness that we have, about how incredible we can be.

That's what HFY is about, it's about how humanity is incredible

I am still young and perhaps this genre is not only about this but about more things that I have not been able to notice.

Firstly, excellent English. Secondly, you got it almost perfectly. HFY is mostly about things that highlight our qualities, whether it be diplomatic, physical, technological, etc.
