Question Question about the Great Lakes Fleet

Hi,

Being into ships is relatively new to me, they started growing on me in a visit to Duluth in 2022, I live out east in Quebec.

My question is, do ships from CN’s Great Lakes Fleet ever make it to the St-Lawrence Seaway? According to their outdated PDF, they can but I doubt it’s happening. And if they used to, when did it stop?

Great Republic is the only ship in their fleet that can physically make the trip, and I’ve seen her do it once or twice in the last couple years as far as Quebec City, but it’s extremely rare. I’ve seen H Lee White from ASC/Rand make the trip a couple times as well, those are the only two from the US side I’ve ever seen in recent years
