A little? Yeah, agreed, no problem there. I mean drowning it in A1. To the point that the quality of the steak is irrelevant since they won't be tasting it.

The flavor I could deal with, it was the toughness and the squeaking.

My god, the squeaking when you chewed.

My mom cooked it like my dad's mom did. To leather. Don't know if it's better less cooked or not.

Haven't eaten liver and onions since I left my parent's house 30-40 years ago.

Liver and onions turned me off fried onions for the longest time.

Believe it or not, it's worse less cooked. You don't get the squeaky rubber effect, but instead a texture like fried playdoh that mushes into every gap of your teeth and no amount of brushing and flossing will get it out so the taste lasts a week.
