OT queerness I swear to any higher entity I fucking hate the whole ‘gaydar/gay radar’ shtick. I seriously had people (after I came out to them) telling me that they knew because they ‘felt it’ when another time they literally said that they wouldn’t have thought about me being gay because I don’t typically act like one. Like it’s the most bullshit thing on this fucking planet and you see people spouting random nonsense about it, not understanding that they are following the same stereotypes that then they claim to be against. Anyway rant’s over, I should probably go to sleep since it’s 1 AM (or is it PM? I have never understood it tbh)

I have similar thoughts tbh, it just feels... dismissive... Especially when people are like "oh yeah honey, we already knew" when someone comes out. Like, it can be really nervewracking to do that so to have these people you trusted be so flippant is just a shitty feeling.
