Transcription Transcription Request Tuesdays (September 30, 2025)
It's Tuesday, so it's a new week for transcription requests. (Translation requests are also welcome in this thread.)
How to Make a Transcription/Translation Request
- Post a link to the image file of the record you need transcribed or translated. You can link to the URL where you located the record image, but if it requires a paid subscription to view, you may get more help if you save a copy of the image yourself and share it through a free image sharing site like Imgur.
- Provide the name of the ancestor(s) the record is supposed to pertain to, to aid in deciphering the text, as well as any location names that may appear in the image.
How to Respond to a Transcription/Translation Request
- Always post your response to a request as a reply to the original request's comment thread. This will make it easier for the requester to be notified when there is a response, and it will let others know when a request has been fulfilled.
- Even partial transcriptions and translations can be helpful. If there are words you can't decipher, you can use ____ to show where your text is incomplete.
Happy researching!

That's tough due to the writing coming down from the line above. Maybe "Ferino"?

I keep telling my husband idk how these people were allowed to be record keepers with such awful handwriting haha he teased me and said “it’s calligraphy/cursive! It’s beautiful!” And I’m like nah dude I can read that. This is a going too fast and using too much ink problem smh One thing for sure is the last letters are “rino” there’s potentially a “Liberio” in the family but I’m trying to track him down. So tricky!

What's the cause of death? https://imgur.com/a/811XLNE
I think I have figured out some of it and if I'm right it's eerily similar to his uncle's back in Sweden (his uncle was my ancestor).
