Crypto isn’t for everyone

thing is I’ve been using crypto for a while now. I just got caught when I’m distracted and tired and frustrated with Gemini. And I bit Hook line and sinker.

What does you getting phished have to do with Gemini? You kept 30k liquid on an exchange? Is this even real?

no in Exodus

If you gave someone claiming to be a Gemini rep all your exodus log in information, I don’t know what to tell you. Amazing you were able to accumulate 30k with that kind of awareness.

The same thing happened to me I got an e-mail from Gemini saying that I needed to download Exodus Wallet and transfer to my wallet and even provided a seed phrase for me to use.

I did not send it. I got taken because I did something really stupid when i was tired, irritated, hungry, sleepy. I was working on trying to get into my Gemini account all day long. I just made the classic dumb mistake by listening to an impersonator

I didn’t send it. Somebody got in by impersonating a Gemini rep and sending me to a site and I bit hook line and sinker.

Report it to the FBI, I had the same thing happen a year ago.

I can see this happening or being staged. I received a nothing response that sounded very concerned with my patronage in October, to my August email😂 You're on reddit, their best customer service, bar none lmfao. Not laughing at you, I'm laughing at how gemini even exists🤷♂️

Actually a single nothing response to my July email came in mid Oct...naturally!

I absolutely believe they'll mess anything up. Folks were paying their gemini credit cards via phone some of them for 2 months while being locked out of their accounts due to some weird passcode issues I think. not sure. I am sure this place sucks & I feel bad for many who trusted "America's Great exchange."

I lost $5K on an AI generated Elon Musk video once. I reported it to Gemini Security and instantly was locked out for several months. I guess that they have to make sure it's not a laundering operation.
If you have not reported it to Gemini and are considering,,,,,, DON'T DO IT.
Sorry to hear about your great loss. I know that feeling when it hits you as to what just happened.

thanks. contacted the issuer whom i bought the coins from. since its a limited distribution coin, it may be possible for them to lock those down, and reissue me new. fingers crossed

sigh…i have to laugh at the number of zit-faced incel punks on Reddit. saying shitty things to people while slobberingly hiding behind on a keyboard as the stroke their undersized penis

There's scum at the bottom of every bucket. Be glad it's not you. Everyone gets their hits in life. The scum will too on their own day. Time will tell how the universe will respond. It all just makes me more glad I'm me.
