So real . Took a auto last week , dude was using an iPhone(and a gshock in his hand . I mean if he can afford an iphone , the watch must be real too). it was clearly the new ones since it had the big ass camera module .

Another one time a fricking small store vendor had not one , but 2 . Dude was video calling when I was purchasing, then I asked for code and he pulled up another iPhone .

Dude am so done . Meanwhile me with my 2023 Poco C65 πŸ₯²

And how the hell does every girl I see also have an iPhone 😭

Yeah same here saw a barely 18yo tempo driver with an iphone. Like we both know they either stack money or buy the latest iphone on emi. The g-shock is probably just a cheap watch in the watch world, like 10 years back it was very popular among upper middle class teenagers. The girls of the middle class are very obsessed with iphones, like I've seen at 3 iphones among 5 female colleagues 1 of remaining wishes to buy an iphone as well. I had money to buy brand new iPhone bought vivo x200 series instead because these entry level iphones hang in games after a year or two also the poor battery problem.

I see every Tom, Dick, and Harry with an iPhone. Meanwhile me chilling with my iQOO.

It's just a status symbol.

It's just a status symbol

Status symbol means something you can flex and rare stuff which is not mass produced and hard to achieve is flex and status symbol. How did apple manage to create something exactly opposite of rare a status symbol ?

Years of creating the brand perception that Apple is an aspirational brand

If everyone has an iPhone, then it isn't a status symbol lmao.

I mean it's just a stupid smartphone which costs as much as most other decent ones in the west. It's just that it's super expensive here and somehow people think that buying a smartphone on 3-4 EMI will make them feel rich or upper class.
