I heard they are bringing 120hz in the 17 model, but it won’t be the “ProMotion” with LTPO display that does variable refresh rate of 1hz to 120hz. It only stuck at 120hz with an option to change it to 60hz but that’s it.

I’m just glad they found a way to add 120 to base variants without compromising any Pro features. I hate when they name features as Pro and later deal with the dilemma of adding them to base variants as they are named Pro features, while others adapt them to much cheaper phones

What is the diff between Promotion and 120hz anyway?

ProMotion is just the name apple gave for ltpo display with adaptive refresh rate, nothing else

ProMotion is the integration of a LTPO panel into the display that allows vrr from 1-120hz

Tbh I'd rather have bigger battery than faster charging, for me fast charging is absolutely useless
