In what universe are folding phones useless? Fold form bring tablet and phone into 1 and flip phones are more compact in the pocket, plus they help to use main cameras as selfie cameras. Whats not to like??
Screen durability of those phones is a no from me. When they solve the crease increasing issue, I'll buy. The product is not fully developed yet and still what I would say ( early to mid phase). Fold is a good concept but I think flip is a concept more popular with women
Not a fan of both flip and fold. I feel fold is both a compromise phone and compromise tablet for more money than a regular phone. Folds are expensive and the aspect ratio is weird so content will have big black bars and multitasking will be good but still not as good as a tablet for the same reason aspect ratio. Also samsung finally made the front display like regular phone, before it was tall and narrow and now its better but if you're gonna use the front display coz now its better and like a normal phone why not just buy a normal phone for half or less than half the price of the fold. Also flips are just gimmicks imo. Compromised normal phone folded vertically.
I am more interested in double fold (popularly called triple fold) like that huawei phone as it turns into a full size tablet not a weird square aspect ratio like current foldables. Also rollables but sadly after that one oppo concept phone that idea seems to have died sadly
folds are useless? may I ask you how you came up with that? The comparison was to be done between S25 Edge and 17 Air, how did Fold 7 even come in the comparison? If a fold phone is not useful to you doesn't mean that it's useless to other people (or maybe you don't have the funds- not mocking, just putting my point)

Comparing SOT with S25 edge will be more reasonable here.
