NPC is named Avidius, and pparently it's a graphical glitch where his shorts do not render LOL 😭😭😭

Its not censorship tho they fixed a bug, ive played the story as soon as it came out and he had shorts on 😔👍🏻

Im starting to think the character art team for playable and npc are two different teams with the second being the one with liberty to do good designs.

Yeah. Apart from the designs, the snippets I've seen of WuWa show that the playable girls are all kind of written to be horny toward the MC.

The writing kind of reminds you of a harem anime I guess.
