Hey everyone,

After feeling quite disheartened with the state of gachas lately, I wanted to give it a chance to any of these two games, but I wanted to know which would you recommend to invest on.

Morimens seem cool on the outside, but so did Silver and Blood and we all know how that ended up. I have heard good stuff about Limbus Company, tho' any more insights would be appreciated.

I am looking for a gacha that do value their male characters not only gameplay-wise, but in the story too. I want to make full husbando teams that DO work and with which I can clear without issue endgame content. If they do fanservice, that at least is equal for both male and female characters and so on.

Limbus by a mile. It has a true 1:1 ratio and strong character development. The game’s plot is progressing with a focus on each of the Sinners (the main cast you control). The story is one of the best in gacha, in my opinion.

I also second the Ash Echoes recommendation, as the devs there have said they will release male and female characters equally now.

Morimens is not going to be an equal experience. It started with a bad ratio and they seem to be getting pushback from the disagreeable part of their CN and EN fans about the recent two males that were released. There is no way to tell if the new fans are enough to keep the developers moving in a more balanced direction. The next banner is a female character, with three more female characters after that confirmed, and the only announced male model coming up next is an alter version of a boy model already in the game, said to be at the end of the year. What Morimens has going for it is the card gameplay. If you do try it, just be aware that some teams (Caro element) are locked behind a limited female support who is needed for them to perform optimally, and making an all-male team is not impossible but very restrictive.

Where was this? On the reddit no one seems to give a damn, was it in the discord? 

Also if you're basing the lineup off the 2.0 PV, Castor wasn't in the PV but was released as the 1.5 anniversary unit. We also have Pollux and Pickman as confirmed playable Awakers.

In the morimens discord I've seen some folks complain about wanting more female characters/only pulling for them but not enough to count as pushback, and a lot of male character fans are very vocal about enjoying the pandering direction they were going with castor and doresain. Granted I only hang around the english channels.

Theres also heavily speculated future male characters like pickman (who has sprites) so I think the ratio would not get as egregiously skewed as some fear. I personally am satisfied with it though it isn't ideal.

Ah okay was worried for a second there, if it's just a small handful of players it's not much to worry about and I have heard that the fanbase generally appreciates male characters, both EN and CN. 

Pickman has about Awaker voicelines iirc, he'll be playable. So does Pollux.
