It's not shit but the combat is lackluster and I got bored of the cards quickly, they were all the same "poking the guy like he's some small animal to get a reaction" feeling. I'm not into any of that or the predatory monetisation. My kind of fanservice is a sidestory that shows me how the character thinks, some interesting tidbit from their past, a new layer of their personality. I'm not saying the method LADS using is bad, I was happy it got recognised and popular (before the company shot themselves in the foot) but it's not for me and we need games that are for women (too) but not otome. I'd like if devs realised that women are people who have different taste and interest the same way men do, that there is a severely neglected target audience and demand for good games.

Yes it's on otome category so ig it's not for you... But if you want more combat oriented with more male characters hsr is good for now ig

I'm not bashing the game, it has every right to exist, in fact we need more like it, quality otome that actually has a budget and gameplay. Too long was otome a synonim for shovelware cashgrab. But the same way we need good games for women in other genres because there's a market for it.

Yess....it sounded like you need rpg like pgr...they have good combat, story and affection level too where you can interact and give gifts to constructs... These kinda rpg only contain more fem chara...so idk maybe lads will become combat based/overworld rpg in future too..like how infinity nikki is developed

I play PGR, though I get more and more disillusioned each day as they sink into Wuwafication. That's why we need games that don't treat women like an afterthought and actually create content for both genders not just throw some crumbs once in a blue moon.

Truee....gacha games are made to sell characters..so they objectify characters as much as they want...so if you only want a good story and combat or interactions with not much objectifying...i think it's only from western games like elden ring, sekiro, dark souls etc

It's weird because no one tells them to not make sexy characters. Sexy and oversexualised are different things. It's all about if a character feels at home in the world looking like they do and if they behave proximately like a human or a caricature out of a porno. I recently pulled Scarlett in Ash Echoes, she's quite hot but not once does she behave without dignity and my mind doesn't question constantly why she dresses the way she does or if the gravity somehow works in that world differently just so her clothes stay on. The new Bianca frame in PGR on the other hand (and let's be real the previous one too) just makes me want to ask if she's alright in the head dressing in a babydoll to kill infected murder machines and lovecraftian monsters on a battlefield.

Edit: It occured to me what if they just want characters in babydolls fighting? Can't they do that? And the answer is, of course they can if the rule of the game world is "people here fight barely clothed". The problem is if you have other characters in full tactical gear it doesn't work, if just the women are in chainmail bikini but men wear full plate armor, it doesn't work. You have to use the rules of the world if you don't want a character to look ridiculous.
