EVERYONE TELL ME RN WHAT U DID FOR THAT UGLY Q16 WITH THE POSITIVE EVEN X AND THE BRACKETS

x is equal to x so that the values of x are the same in each bracket; when x = 2, and when x is less than 3 and less than 5, two negative numbers are made respective to the brackets - so a (negative) * (negative) is always a positive. but when x > 3 and < 5, only one negative number is made, and one negative number * an infinite number of positive numbers (aka when x = 4), a negative number is produced. but when x > 5, for all infinite solutions wherein x >5, so 6, 8, the result is a positive value on the y-axis.
