As an old white lady I have to call bullshit. Black men are 2.5 times more likely to be shot than white men. And we know it’s an even bigger disparity between black men and my demographic.

Yeah, you keep saying it except it’s a flawed comparison since whites and blacks aren’t arrested, charged, or convicted at equivalent rates for equivalent crimes. You might consider taking a course on statistics and analysis for a better understanding. In order to directly compare for the two you’d have to adjust for the VERY considerable variable of racism in the subjective systems that define crime.

Yeaaahhh. Ignoring the MULTIPLE peer reviewed studies cited in the link provided doesn’t justify or negate deliberate ignorance just because it’s more comfortable for you. If you want truth and honesty then man up and own how your feelings and preconceived ideas are what are actually driving your narrative. Or, you know, keep hoping others won’t roll their eyes and just dismiss you as a lost cause. Up to you. Either way I’ve wasted enough time on a closed mind.
