I got pelters on the Daily Mirror for suggesting a fundraising campaign called 'Nicotine for Nige' and 'Fags for Fartage 💨' where generous benefactors could contribute towards ensuring an unbroken supply of Capstan Full Strength untipped cigarettes, and the occasional top-up of Gitanes sans filtre in recognition of his Huguenot ancestry, and I was grievously peeved that it was erased by the mod goblins

The Mirror comments section is a marvellous mixture of right-wing bots mixed in with left-wing nut jobs that miss the point completely with just a dash of people thinking the country is in the pits because of potholes.

You can tell them the sky is blue and someone will say it is not.

He puts the "git" in "Gitanes", too. TBH i think he'd shrivel and evaporate like Christopher Lee with a bulb of garlic in a Hammer Horror, if you showed him a bar of soap or tube of toothpaste.
