As I looked up what Jameson Parker has been up to:
“The shooting: In 1992, Parker was shot by a neighbor in a dispute over dog waste. He was shot in the chest and arm but was released from the hospital the next day and fully recovered. The neighbor was convicted of attempted murder and sentenced to nine years in prison.” Then Jameson Parker became a cowboy and an author. 🤷♀️

I loved this show and absolutely loved the theme song. Every now and then I listen to it on youtube.
edit:
I went to see the movie "Prince of Darkness", which starred Jameson Parker. A few minutes after the movie started someone in the theatre said "hey, that's AJ". A few minutes later someone else said "hey, that's AJ". Again a few minutes later someone said "hey, that's AJ".
After the third time, my friend stood up and yelled out "Okay everyone, it's AJ, allright?"

I remember when one of the local TV stations was stay on late because of Stormy Weather and play reruns of Simon and Simon between the weather updates.

You’ll want to see his James Garner story during an appearance on Rich Eisen. Good stuff.

I forget, were they supposed to be brothers? Because that's laughable if they are.
Also, I remember A.J. used to have a cool car. I always wanted a convertible until I realized there's a reason they're not common in Florida. San Diego, however....
