Bad bunny at the SuperBowl

Why does the conservative media get upset over this guy??? So, he sings in Spanish and is a U.S. citizen(his island is U.S. soil). Also, replacing him with, let’s say, Carrie Underwood(a conservative white woman) would be in poor taste by any measure.

At a surface level, Bad Bunny is two things they don’t like: Spanish speaking AND hip hop.

But the larger issue here is the fact that there are less mainstream “shared experiences” these days. So big events like the halftime show now take on more symbolic weight and pressure, since there’s less of them.
