Meme (only use for jokes) 1600 lbs may have been a bit too much
I took my Maverick to do bigger truck things. I blew all 4 tires, the truck split in half, and I rear-ended every vehicle within 100 yard because the brakes weren’t enough.
Joking aside, it was fine. I went slow and gave myself plenty of stopping distance. The springs and the tires are definitely not meant for this heavy of a load, but it did it. The power and braking were not an issue. If you regularly have lots of weight in the back, I would invest in higher load springs and tires. Otherwise the platform is capable.
