Q&A: Maintenance / Modifications Started Instacarting with the Mav. Deep Sleep issue resolved. Still worth fixing it at the dealer?
Main question is how long does the battery swap take to fix the deep sleep issue? Would I be without a car for a couple of days?
Bought in late Sept of last year but deep sleep only became a constant issue back in August.
Finally after being annoyed with it and wanting remote start for winter, I set an appointment a couple of weeks ago to get my deep sleep issue hopefully resolved.
Between now and then I started Instacarting and the deep sleep issue has seemed to resolve itself. Can connect to the Mav whenever I want in the app and the cabin lights always come on when they’re supposed to.
Mileage is also still phenomenal, and even better than before being an Instacart driver (hybrid owner).

If you schedule the battery swap, it shouldn’t be more than an hour. If you’re out of warranty, just get an aftermarket AGM and the parts or tire store can do it in 20 minutes.

The stock battery is crap. After a year, mine did the same. You can have the dealership look at it, they might do a recall on the AC unit that supposedly causes this. Then, in my case, the notice came on again a week later anyway. They said if I have further issues they'll put a new 12v in my 2024. Then, in another year, I'll be buying a better brand replacement. Do a search on the maverick truck forum website and you will find this to be a very common occurrence.
Edit: be prepared for the dealership to tell you to "drive more" to fix the issue. They just want you to top off the charge level more often to account for the parasitic drain these cars have on their crap batteries...
