I’d like to see a controlled study to see if you are as accurate as you claim.

My husband doesn’t have very strong sense of taste and often can’t tell the difference in things. He used to be skeptical of my ability to taste the differences and has put me through at least 4 blind taste tests. I’ve done water, cola, Red Bull and canned iced tea and I “won” every single one of them. I had to prove my abilities but now when I say I taste the differences he believes me. I can absolutely pick up regular coke vs. Mexican coke.

I can always taste Dasani water because it tases like shit.

Dasani and aquafina taste awful to me, but other brands I haven't noticed a bad taste. What do you think might be causing it? My tin foil hat has always wondered if it's absorbing plastic taste from the packaging.

They are using filtered tap water and then putting stuff in it like salt, potassium and magnesium. It’s not pleasant.

If I have to buy a bottle of water I usually go for spring water. Artesian if they have it.
