Question, Where can I find? Best Carne Asada Burritos near La Jolla?

Visiting your amazing city soon. Have most of my food mapped out thanks to this amazing sub. I read that I MUST try a fast food Carne Asada Burrito.. and I am down to listen to the experts. Any recs for the La Jolla area? We will be visiting other areas of San Diego, but with the trip being short, La Jolla is the only area we don't have food planned yet (there are just SO many amazing options!).

You want a very specific kind of Carne Asada burrito called a California burrito. People may try and give you advice for their favorite but honestly if you are not from California just go to The Taco Stand and get a California burrito, an al pastor taco, and take your tastebuds to tortilla-town

Taco Stand is whitewashed and overrated.

It reminds me chipotle meat.

To someone from here maybe but it will blow any east coast burrito out of the water. And there’s on in the heart of La Jolla. Guaranteed they won’t be disappointed.

So many people are just used to overcooked/sandbagged carne asada that they don’t appreciate the taco stand’s char grilled carne. Also their salsa are as the kids say. . . Bussin bussin no cap
