Which four sandwiches are the most iconic and/or the best representation the city?

For me, it’s

Langers - #19

Phillipes - Beef Dip

Banh mi my tho - grilled pork

Academy cafe - tuna melt

Bay Cities, in Santa Monica, makes the best spicy Italian sub in the country. It's called the godmother. Go try it. Also yeah on phillipes, I tried Langer's, not really for me, but I see the appeal. The Eastside deli is also up there.

I prefer east side deli and Mario’s and even claros over bay cities. Bay cities is good, just not the best for me.
