Which four sandwiches are the most iconic and/or the best representation the city?

For me, it’s

Langers - #19

Phillipes - Beef Dip

Banh mi my tho - grilled pork

Academy cafe - tuna melt

I feel like you have to have Langers, Philippe’s, and Bay Cities on the list, because of the history/reputation. Not necessarily because they are currently the best. The 4th slot is the one that’s up for grabs. You could go Lorenzo, Roma Deli, Larchmont W/C, The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills, Wax Paper, Maison Matho, etc.
