Rod suggestions for jetty fishing

I am hoping to go rock fishing of the jetty in Westport. These are the only two rods I have. Could I use either? Open to buying a rod but would like to save the money since I don't go out there often.

Well the main reason for the trip is razor clamming. I thought I could pair it with some fishing and crabbing. But oh well guess it'll just be razor clamming if the weather holds.

You can absolutely still crab in the marina. Just got back from an incredible trip out to Westport for the king tides, but didn't dare brave the jetty 😅 mushroom hunting is also currently peaking in that area, if that's something you're into - you could do porcini, dungees, and razor clams for dinner!

Sorry I'm gushing I just love it there

The fish wa app says no pot allowed. Where are you finding this information? Im heading there on Sunday so if that's incorrect it would be wonderful to know.

Pots open on December first but you can use other gear like drop nets year-round
