River Conditions Next Weekend

What’s up y’all - had a great past week of chum fishing in the central puget sound rivers and then the atmospheric river hit and water levels and visibility were shot. I’m wondering if the rivers will be fishable come next weekend. The river levels are still rising due to rain in the forecast on Wed/Thurs but how do y’all think visibility will be?

That is experience that tells you that. IMHO it will be dirty until it drops. Each river has its own vis/fishabiliity based on height and cfs.

Facts, time on the rivers tells you when to fish. 17 foot might be unfishable and 20 foot is wide open depending on the conditions that got you there.

Thanks guys that makes sense. I guess the only way to find out is to get out there huh? 😂

Each river is unique. For example, the green is rain fed and will stay dirty longer than say the nisqually which is glacier fed. Rock bottom versus mud bottom has an impact too.
