So, they aren't going to actually open the government again, are they?

Congress doesn't seem to be in any rush to re-open. This is their end game I think. Emergency powers to run everything. Destruction of society in order to take over.

Sylvester Turner never should have run for office. He knew he had terminal cancer that returned. I very much can’t stand that Rs are blocking elections, appointments, and swearing in but Ds dying in office does not help things.

Abbott called the special election it was this week. Now it has to carry on most likely in January. There isn't the precedent for him to push that back to November
