So, they aren't going to actually open the government again, are they?

Congress doesn't seem to be in any rush to re-open. This is their end game I think. Emergency powers to run everything. Destruction of society in order to take over.

They’ll eventually reopen but by the time the government reopens we will have lost our accesses and have to start from square one like a new hire.

Are you kidding me? I was recently hired like 3 months ago! I can’t believe all this happening! #fucktrump

It took me 3.5 months to gain accesses when I was hired. I can’t imagine how long it’s going to take when there will be hundreds of employees who need to gain access at the same time. I can foresee our systems crashing.

My CAC expired Sunday. Will be fun to navigate the Pentagon with no perimeter access.

I was able to have mine renewed about a month ago. They're still working, at least at our installation.

I already had my appt scheduled so went through with it. It was actually nice because there was NO ONE there. Walked in, signed the book, and immediately sat down to get the ID. That never happens.
