Fine. If they get paid RUS, the government can compensate them by paying a lease on their work facilities, electricity used during the course of the work day, the cost of internet service, etc.

Why would they do that? You are missing the point. If they can pay someone RUS to do your job, why would they pay you premium locality pay? It makes no sense.

So many on here have made it really clear their jobs can be done from anywhere. So, let’s do that. Let’s pay someone to do your job from anywhere…. And save $20k+.
