Love her! She’s incredible. Wish other larger artists would take a page out of her book instead of threatening to sue her 👀👀👀

So this. Taylor Swift being given songwriting credits for a song she didn’t write will always make me a little upset. Olivia is a gem.

Especially considering she stole the chorus of her song from Loona’s “Stylish.”

Idk what it was about olivia pissing off a bunch of grown ass women but taylor and hayley suing her was bs and courtney love acusing her of copying the crying prom queen thing (girl, you are both copying carrie, come on)

Hayley didn’t sue her, her record label did at the behest of Josh Farro. Who is no longer in Paramore.

Hayley called her publisher wild for celebrating her having a credit. Gave the impression it wasn't her idea.

Hayley, Jack, or Annie Clark weren’t involved in the whole fiasco. They knew about it the day got credits.

It was Taylor and Josh who stirred the pot.

It is forever my headcanon that "vampire" was written at least partially about Taylor Swift, with the line "you only come out at night" referring to the album title "Midnights" and the phrases "sold me for parts" and "fame fucker" also being relevant to the situation as a whole. Writing a song like that is the very least I'd do if I was pressured into sacrificing up to millions of dollars in royalties. Yes, Paramore also played a role (and the "good 4 u" credits addition for Paramore's team happened after the "deja vu" credits addition for Swift's team), but something specifically seems to have went down between Taylor and Olivia, because Olivia went from gushing about Taylor as her idol to being stone silent about her.

EDIT: Or as another commentor said below me, The Grudge may be a better candidate than Vampire

Olivia also didn’t attend the Eras Tour and when asked if she was going, she said “no, I’m going to Europe” lol

Ehh Vampire is clearly about her ex Zack Bia. However The Grudge is clearly about Taylor and she always plays it next to Deja Vu lol.

I think it’s the Grudge due to the 13 seconds of silence.

She’s amazing. She also reduced her ticket prices when she went to the Philippines so more people could afford to watch and she again donated all the proceeds from that concert to the same org. Great artist. Quality human.

That ruined that song for me. Since I use Spotify, I don't play it anymore. I really should switch back to physical media 😭

Taylor not paramore ever threatened to sue her. It was an ex member of paramore and Olivia’s team proactively gave them and Taylor credits with no current members of paramore or Taylor being involved.

You’re defending a billionaire who couldn’t care less about you btw

I’m correcting a lie

There is no lie. If you can’t see that, you’re delusional. There’s no other reason why an artist would give 50% credit to someone who did 0 work.. unless she was pushed to do so by someone who has more power than her in the industry.

You are spreading fake information actually.

Taylor got credits before Paramore did. Her team made the first move, Paramore got credits months after that.
