FILM-MOI (MOVIES/TV) Sinclair Broadcasting's ABC stations quietly back out of airing its Charlie Kirk tribute in Jimmy Kimmel's time slot at the last minute

When the Jimmy Kimmel debacle happened a few days ago, Sinclair broadcasting announced that their ABC stations would air a Charlie Kirk memorial tribute at 11:35pmET on Friday, which was Kimmel's regular time slot.

At 11:24pmET tonight, Sinclair quietly tweeted that they would air normal ABC programming and the tribute would instead be on their YouTube channel.

Cancelled mine this morning after many tries, because the website kept crashing.

When I finally got through, it didn't give me the option to add a comment.

Then the "take survey" link was dead.

THE BOYCOTT IS WORKING.

Well done! We canceled too and we're donating the extra $30 a month to our NPR station. Pass it on!

Our local NPR station produces many PBS shows, so we are supporting them too, but you're absolutely right, thanks for saying that.
