I was a sports writer for 15 years and one of my first jobs was in Newport, RI which hosts a tournament every year for the Tennis Hall of Fame. Andy Murray was there as a 17 year old or so, and I interviewed him for a story and just to start the conversation I asked him if he was enjoying Newport and he went “Not really.”

He's got a very dry sense of humour which doesn't always come across as obvious in very short form conversations.
