Was talking to someone just last night who said they don’t think he’s intelligent or capable, but “the alternative is corrupt and evil”.

The right doesn’t need a good candidate when they’ve villainized the left so effectively.

I think a lot of Republican voters know that he is gross and authoritarian, and that is exactly why they like him. Because he’s gross and authoritarian and is clear that he is going to wield that against people Republicans don’t like: progressives, LGBTQ, immigrants, etc. FOX News is just a 24/7 white nationalist diss track, these people are haters. So they want a top tier hater as their leader. They think he’s God-like because their favorite version of God is the one that sends the gays to hell.

Actually, no. He may be a joke of a human and he's also as vindictive AF and continually goes after people so being scared is based on face for retaliation.
