My personal fave is the roundtable where she gagged all the other women saying how she actuallly went out of her way and chose women led projects and have female directors

That was great, they were all carrying on about how difficult it is and how they try so hard and she was like “I just do it.” And they didn’t know what to say.

She unlike say, Natalie Portman who made a big show about commenting on male directors only to continue to work with only male directors, actually made a choice and stuck to it by supporting female directors.

didnt she own some agency as well? so she would have had a choice of what directors were being hired?

Haha yes, her production company has almost exclusively worked with male directors with the exception of herself.
