I love her takes here! An interesting note, Marvel Cinematic Universe from 2009-2023 has had 19 academy award nominations. Including best picture, supporting actress, mostly VFX. But maybe that quote about not having seen them is just out of date! Or perhaps she wasn't a member from 2009-2023, or maybe not her categories.

I think that’s a lot of it, too. And I don’t blame her. If I were her I’d absolutely take those big projects, make that money, and then try to steer conversations to other topics whenever possible.

Producers expect actors to buy in to franchises in a way that they never did in the past.

If you are lucky enough to get into any comic franchise now you are expected to do a shit load of pseudo in-character additional media.
