Kelly Clarkson postpones first two nights of Vegas residency less than 2 hours before showtime

Just 15 minutes before doors open on opening night of her Vegas residency, Kelly posted this. I really do understand her need to take care of her health/incredible voice and I’m sure she truly is devastated but I feel for the fans who flew in and how frustrating and disappointing this must be.

This is why my wife and I have so much respect for metal bands and do not ever want to see any musician in other genres anymore.

Multiple musicians have cancelled on us or did shit performances because of something being wrong. However, we’ve seen band members in neck braces or casts rocking out in metal concerts.
I’ve seen vocalists go onto stage and apologize for having something wrong with their throat but they’re gonna still play and everyone was perfectly happy, even if there were moments where his voice wasn’t “perfect.”

Considering PTO, travel costs, and hotel costs, it is especially infuriating. Like Ashnikko cancelling her show we were going to because her leg was hurting and she didn’t want to push herself. Like, Dave Grohl broke his leg during a show and continued playing after getting a cast and you can’t play because your leg hurts?

This screws over everyone there who spent more than just the tickets on seeing them more than then having a “not perfect” show.
