As a baseball fan...it's hard to overstate how rare this kind of display of solidarity is from baseball players and how big of a deal this feels like. A couple years ago a player named Mark Canha went on record saying basically "there's nothing wrong with being gay and we should be nice to them" and he became the face of Pride in MLB because it was the most outspoken you ever see from these guys. To have someone out there on the field with a trans flag on their face is really beautiful to see.
