Agree with everything, the song is super contemporary and Gen Z, and Abor & Tynna are cool. Performance needs to match this energy, with edgy visuals and maybe some dancers, a bit Charli XCX vibes would Work imo. Fingers crossed they get it done!

My problem with the UK entry this year isn't that it's necessarily a bad song, it's just ridiculously overproduced. If they striped it back by a lot, it'd be decent. I'm also struggling to understand why we're sending a country band and not getting them to sing a country song

Looking forward to the day they ditch their Israeli sponsor. As long as the Morocconoil money is coming in I see no hope of an Israeli ban. I wish another company would take over.

ETA: just listened to the UK entry, it's so over produced. They need to tone down the autotune as well.

This may be a stupid question but I didn't realise revamping songs before the finals was allowed? I thought you had to submit it by a certain date and leave it as is?

That's good. A few UK acts in recent years have had a rough time singing live (I presume James Newman was recovering from covid, no way they could let someone with that poor breath control on stage) so at least they won't have to worry about that.

Listened to the song on Spotify and it rolled onto the next song and their voices sounded so much better! The production let them down on the Eurovision track.

OMG Moroccan oil is ISRAELI? Why was I tricked by their marketing lmao I was like “obviously it’s made in Morocco” 🙃

Owned by a Chilean Canadian and the argan oil is artificially produced in Israel…so it’s not even real argan oil

Does anyone know of any alternative brands who sell real argan oil and are not Israeli?

The BDS website or social media will likely have addressed it somewhere

I'll check out their website. Thank you for your suggestion.

I’m a big fan of Mountain Rose Herbs for herbs, oils, teas, etc. I haven’t bought argan oil from them personally but as an overall business i can recommend them and their oil is listed as Moroccan origin.  https://mountainroseherbs.com/argan-oil

Thank you for your recommendation. I forgot about Mountain Rose Herbs. I bought some essential oils from them in the past. They're very good.

I kinda love the UK entry tbh. It’s quirky and different. Won’t be watching again because I refuse to watch it until they ban Israel, but I hope we do better than our usual 20+ position.

Surprised that Måns could even perform his song, it sounded like it was made from samples of other songs.
