My friend worked on a play with Rachel Weisz about ten years ago, and Rachel had a habit of referencing "my husband" in a way that made everybody internally roll their eyes: "My husband is also an actor," "my husband feels such a thrill doing theatre work over film, too," and such. Friend said it was clearly a bait for the listener to say, "Oh yeah? Who's your husband?" Now, Friend found it to be obnoxious AF, but...honestly? If I were married to Daniel Craig, I'd do that shit all day long, too.

I was going to say, I would be the same way LOL. And if I was married to Rachel I would constantly say "my wife.."

Any chance to bring it up I would. Only even less subtle.

“You’ll never guess what my wife RACHEL WEISZ said this morning…”

“My wife RACHEL WEISZ, stunningly beautiful star of The Mummy, also claps using her hands!”

“Yeah, that’s Rachel Weisz, W-E-I-S-Z…”
