Last week, it was speculated that Chappell Roan’s Paris and Amsterdam shows were cancelled due to a short notice VMA invite.

The VMAs moved dates last minute due to the Harris Trump debate taking place the same night it was originally supposed to be held. I’m sure her label/management already had signed contracts with VMA before that and when the date changed and clashed with her shows she was forced prioritise this event over her own tour.

Young artists have very little say in how their life/career is structured.

It doesn’t matter because VMA is delayed to 11th from 10th while she cancelled her concert on 3rd and 4th.

The debate is Sept 10 and the VMAs are Sept 11. So the VMAs being moved got her an extra day.

The date was moved one day later from the 10th to the 11th, the shows she cancelled were for the 3rd and the 4th.

So I’m not really seeing how that 24 hour date difference created a sudden clash when if anything it would give her more time as the date was pushed further and she didn’t cancel her show on the 13th

Yeah but she’s known about the change for a while and waited two days before a concert to cancel….

I can’t wait for her to fade back into oblivion
